Delete your data

Effective 26 October 2026

What we hold

On our servers we hold your ShelfWorth account and what you keep in it:

  • The books you add, your shelves, reading sessions and lendings, including the borrower names you type.
  • Your profile settings, such as your currency.
  • Your Apple user ID, and your name and email if you shared them, when you used Sign in with Apple.
  • A push token, if you allowed notifications.

Firebase and PostHog usage counts are tied to a random identifier, not your name.

Delete it in the app

Open ShelfWorth, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account, and confirm. Your account and everything in it are deleted from our servers straight away, and the app starts a fresh, empty account.

Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my ShelfWorth data". If you used Sign in with Apple, send it from that Apple ID email (or include the relay address Apple created) so we can find your account.

We delete the account and its data within 30 days and reply to confirm. Without Sign in with Apple the account is anonymous and we cannot match it to an email, so please use the button in the app instead.

What we have to keep

Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep any purchase records for tax and accounting, under their own policies. We keep nothing else once your account is deleted.
